Admission for D.El.Ed. Course
Admission shall be made on merit on the basis of marks obtained at the H.S. or its equivalent examination.

Duration | 1.Two academic sessions, which can be completed in a maximum of three years from the date of admission to the programme. |
Eligibility | 1.Should pass the H.S. (+2) Examination from any recognized Board/Council/University with at least 50% marks in the aggregate. 5% marks relaxation for the applicants who belongs to SC/ST/OBC/PH/Ex-Serviceman categories.
2.Should not be above 35 years of age as on 01/07/2017. 5% marks relaxation for the applicants who belongs to SC/ST/OBC/PH categories. 3.Must have studied the language at the H.S. level as a compulsory subject for which medium of instruction. |
Reservation | 1.10% seats of the total intake (for self-financed colleges) will be reserved for ‘Management Quota’
2.Seats for SC/ST/PWD (Minimum disability 40%) candidates will be as per Govt. Rules. Relaxation of minimum qualifying marks will be as per Govt. rules. 3.4% (i.e. 2 out of fifty ) of the seats shall be earmarked for applicants coming from the Vocational Stream Course (+2 level ) under recognized Board/Council/University. |
Intake Capacity | 1.One basic units 50(Fifty) fresher candidate. |
Fee Structures | 1.The course fee and admission fee set by the WBBPE/ Govt. of West Bengal. 2.Hostel charges, where applicable, & Examination Fees may be realized separately. |
Attendance | 1.At least 80% attendance, fail to attend they will be treated cancellation of his/her admission. |
Working Days & Time: | 1.200 working days for classes.
2.40 days for practice teaching. 3.Timing 10.45 A.M. to 4.45 P.M. |
